TAP, the Regional Government of Madeira and local partners are organising an extraordinary flight for students of the autonomous region to allow them to travel to the island to be with their families at Easter time.
The flight home, from Lisbon to Madeira, will take off at 8pm on 23 March, arriving in Funchal at 9.45pm.
The return flight to the mainland will leave from Funchal at 10.30pm on 1 April and arrive in Lisbon at 12.05am.
This service is the result of constructive dialogue between TAP and the Regional Government of Madeira to find travel solutions that best serve the needs of the Madeira people.
Once the Madeirans are on board this special flight, they will be offered produce from the island to make them feel right at home.To book a seat on these flights, students from Madeira must contact Madeiran travel agents from Monday 5 March.
