TAP has won the “Best Company – Which company would you most like to work for?” award from the readers of ‘Human Resources’ magazine which held an online vote for more than a month. More than 22,000 votes were cast in the different categories.
The nominees for each category in the “As Empresas Mais” awards were selected by the magazine’s editorial team and a panel of advisors, who chose the eight companies in each category. There were 24 categories in the awards, with 22 companies and two personalities – best CEO/Chairman and best Personnel Manager - as well as the Personality Prize awarded by the magazine’s editorial staff.
TAP Group Human Resources director, Pedro Ramos, said “this award is recognition from the readers of ‘Human Resources’ and, through them, the public in general, of the levels of attracting and retaining talent that we have developed at TAP, as it seeks to ensure our staff are fulfilled in every aspect of their relationship with the company. We have been recruiting again and I believe that today we are one of the largest – if not the largest – creators of new skilled jobs in Portugal.”
The online readers’ poll closed on 3 April, with the prizes awarded to the winners in each category at a ceremony held yesterday in Lisbon’a Museu da Eletricidade.
