TAP Air Portugal was distinguished in the European Gala of the World Travel Awards, considered the "Oscars" of the Tourism Sector, with three awards.
The Portuguese Airline was considered the European Airline Leader for South America, the European Airline Leader for Africa and its In-flight Magazine - UP Magazine - was recognized, for the fourth consecutive time, as Leader in Europe.
The World Travel Awards were instituted in 1993, celebrating in this edition 25 years, with the aim of reward and to distinguish the excellency in all sectors from the Tourism industry.
Today, the WTA are globally recognized as the definitive seal of quality, with the winners to be consisted as the excellency reference which all others aspire.
