This new TAP Airbus A330-900neo is registered as CS-TUG and its first commercial flight had the number TP087. The Company already has five aircraft of this model that operate in its long-haul fleet.
With the launch of this aircraft, the two daily Lisbon-São Paulo route flights will be mostly operated by the new Airbus A330neo aircraft from the TAP fleet.
Other destinations in Brazil have also already received the Company's new aircraft. Salvador, Brasília and Belo Horizonte have already experienced the Airbus A330-900neo.
In all, by the end of 2019, the Company will have received 19 Airbus A330-900neos to strengthen and expand its long-haul fleet.
TAP Air Portugal is the only airline in the world to benefit from the many attributes of this larger-range aircraft. And it is also a pioneer in offering unlimited free text messaging via wi-fi on transatlantic flights at no cost at all to its passengers
