This Sunday, 10 June, TAP starts flying to Florence, Italy.
This will be the fifth Italian city served by the company, which also flies to Rome, Milan, Bologna and Venice from Lisbon and, to Milan from Porto.
The Florence route will be operated by TAP Express Embraer 190s, with 10 flights a week. Flights will depart from Lisbon at 7.05am, arriving in Florence at 10.50am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. There will also be flights departing Lisbon at 3.50pm, arriving in Florence at 7.35pm on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
TAP believes this is a route with a lot of potential traffic in both directions and has committed to promoting Portugal in Florence with an advertising campaign that includes 25 taxis for three months and a city centre billboard.
