TAP distinguished with International Awards

At the "18th Annual GT Tested Reader Survey Awards" gala, held at the famous The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, TAP was recognized as "Best Transatlantic Airline" and "Best Airline in Europe" by the readers of Global Traveler magazine.

Also Star Alliance, of which TAP is a member, was elected World's Leading Airline Alliance 2021.

The World Travel Awards presented to TAP recognize the renewal that the airline is undergoing and the commitment of its teams and crews to improving the travel experience for its passengers. 

The World Travel Awards have been presented since 1993 and were established to recognize, reward and celebrate excellence in all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry. Nominated among some of the most renowned air carriers, TAP was elected through an online voting process by professionals in the Travel and Tourism industry, namely travel agents, tour operators and organizations from over 100 countries, as well as the general public.

Global Traveler conducted its GT Tested Reader Survey for the 18th consecutive year, asking frequent luxury travelers to nominate the best in a variety of travel-related categories, with more than 22,000 readers responding. The survey honors airlines, hotels, loyalty programs and travel-related products in more than 80 categories.
