TAP's Portugal Stopover has already transported more than 83 thousand passengers from Brazil to Europe

Between January and September, Brazil led the way in using the of the Portugal Stopover programme with around 50% of all users.

TAP Air Portugal's Stopover programme attracted more than 83,000 passengers travelling from Brazil to Europe. The Brazilian market is the main user of this programme, with more than 83,000 passengers choosing, during the first nine months of the year, to stay in Portugal for up to ten days.

This partnership between TAP and Turismo de Portugal allows the Company's passengers to discover our Country even better and explore it before travelling to their final destination, but now also on their return home.

Stopover passengers also get a 25% discount for a flight within Portugal, to discover tourist regions such as Porto and the North, the Algarve or the autonomous regions of Madeira and the Azores, using a promotional code that can be used on the TAP website (www.flytap.pt) or at travel agencies. They can also benefit from exclusive offers and discounts from more than 150 partners.

TAP Air Portugal's Stopover programme is mainly aimed at the company's long-haul markets, namely Brazil and the United States, but is available in all the markets in which TAP operates. This year, for the fifth consecutive year, the programme was voted the best Stopover programme by Global Traveler magazine at the Leisure Lifestyle Awards.

In Brazil, the Company has connections to 11 destinations from Lisbon and Porto, flying to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belém, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Fortaleza, Natal, Maceió, Porto Alegre, Recife and Salvador. For 2024, it has already been announced that the number of flights will rise to a new record, with 91 flights a week, an average of 13 a day, reaffirming TAP as the most important international airline linking Brazil to Europe.

For ten consecutive years, TAP has been considered the best airline to fly to South America and Africa by the World Travel Awards, a recognition of TAP's excellence in service.
