TAP strengthens medium-haul fleet with another A321NEO Airbus

TAP received this Wednesday another Airbus A321neo in Lisbon. The most recent airliner will strengthen the company's medium-haul fleet, allowing TAP to expand its offer, reach new destinations, and thereby strengthen its competitiveness. The Airbus A321neo CS-TJM offers 198 seats. With significant fuel consumption reductions, it is 15% more efficient than the previous model, which allows for savings of 1500 tons of fuel/year and a reduction of 4700 tons in CO2 emissions.

This is the fifth airliner to arrive this year, out of the 37 planes that TAP will receive until the end of the year. The company's fleet will include the four Airbus models: A320neo, A321neo, A321LR, and A330neo. In addition to the six Airbus A321neo, the company currently has two other A320neo and three A330neo. Until 2025, TAP will receive 71 new airliners, making it one of the most modern fleets in the world.
