TAP minimises distruption caused to its client's journeys

TAP is striving to serve its clients as best as possible, protecting them from the exceptional circumstances that the world is going through due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Airline has therefore announced new measures to increase flexibility as regards changing the dates and destinations of flights, in line with the following rules:

- For flights booked before 8 March and for flights up to 31 May, Clients may change their travel dates and even their destination. The flights can be rescheduled until the extended deadline of 31 December, without paying any rebooking fee. See the conditions here.
-For flights that were booked between 8 and 31 March, the rules apply that have been in force under the “Reserve com Confiança (Book in Confidence)” campaign (see https://www.flytap.com/en-pt/latest-updates)

Clients can automatically manage their bookings with no waiting time at flytap.com

Owing to the huge number of requests caused by the operational adjustments TAP has been forced to make, the Contact Center and Facebook service has longer response times than usual. TAP apologises for this disruption, caused by the extraordinary circumstances.
For more convenience and a quicker response, TAP provides all its Clients with the “manage my booking” tool, through which they can manage their booking on the website. It is available at https://www.flytap.com/en-pt/manage-booking-flight.

TAP requests all its Clients to update their contact details

Furthermore, and given that at this time all passengers have many doubts about the status of their flights, and whether or not they have been cancelled, Clients may consult the situation of their specific flight on the website at https://www.flytap.com/en-pt/flight-information-tool.
In order for TAP to best serve its Clients and to contact them to provide all updates about their flights, it is essential that they keep their booking contacts up to date, namely their mobile phone number, e-mail and passport number so that they can be contacted to transmit all updates about their flights. Updating these details is very easy by logging in and going to your profile page at flytap.com.

Flights to the United States of America

The American Government announced that no foreign citizens will be allowed entry who have been in the Schengen space in the 14 days prior to arriving in the United States. This measure does not apply to American citizens and residents, among other exceptions. TAP will keep its Clients informed about their flights.

The Airline will continue to closely monitor the Coronavirus outbreak and take the measures necessary in an agile manner to minimise the strong impact of the current situation.
