TAP Miles&Go Clients can now buy services using miles

Seat upgrades, additional luggage, sports equipment, fast track or lounge access are now accessible with miles.

With the beginning of the new year, clients of TAP's loyalty program, TAP Miles&Go, can enjoy new advantages with Miles4Extras. The Portuguese airline program, with more than 4.5 million clients, is now offering the Miles4Extras facility, in which clients can use their accumulated miles to purchase seat upgrades, additional luggage, transportation of sports equipment, access to lounges, fast track, among other benefits.

Even clients who travel less frequently or who have not yet accumulated enough miles to be able to book trips with miles, can choose to enjoy some benefits tailored to their miles when traveling with TAP, such as: upgrading to its place for 1,500 miles; use the fast track for 2,900 miles; enjoy the lounge for 4,950 miles; add luggage for 6,000 miles; transporting a pet with Miles&Go Pets for 7,000 miles or carrying sports or musical equipment for 10,000 miles.

Through the website www.flytap.com, clients can book flights as they normally do and, in the purchase process, add the benefits they want, using their miles. Clients who already have reservations can also add these benefits at any time, through booking management at www.myb.flytap.com/my-bookings. Alternatively, they can also request these services through the usual TAP telephone channels or at the airport.

TAP also recalls that the TAP Miles&Go Programme, reinforcing its commitment to clients, especially in this exceptional period caused by the pandemic, continues to apply measures to protect benefits, such as maintaining the status until February 2021, extending the validity of miles which would expire until September 2020 to September 2021, as well as the flight rescheduling flexibility policy, without penalties or loss of miles at the beginning of 2021.
