Company challenges TAP Miles&Go Clients to help people in need.
TAP is running a charity campaign that challenges TAP Miles&Go Clients to convert their miles into gifts; these gifts will then help us provide a merrier Christmas to children from families in need or at risk - from Lisbon and Porto - supported by CASA Association (Support Center for the Homeless).
Running till December 15, the "TAP Donate Miles" charity campaign will convert all donated miles into TAP Store products, which will then be sent to the 68 children that have been selected for the CASA Amiga project.
Toys, stuffed toys, mugs, speakers, headphones and many other items will help us bring a merrier Christmas to these children.
CASA Association aims to help homeless people and families at risk or in need by providing them with food, clothing, and social work/reintegration services.
The Support Center for the Homeless has 10 branches in mainland Portugal and the Madeira Islands. In 2020 its 1,703 volunteers helped 4,846 individuals from families at risk and 1,998 homeless people. In the year 2020, the Association served 513.247 meals and offered 20,396 hampers to families at risk.
