Information on flight TP1492

Flight TP1492 had an accident landing at Guinea Conacry airport, when a motorcycle tried to cross the runway at that moment, with the occupant of the vehicle losing his life. 

TAP deeply regrets what happened and our thought are with the family of the deceased. All safety procedures were complied with, but even so, it was not possible to avoid the aforementioned accident.

Passengers and crew are well. 

TAP is naturally collaborating with the local authorities to investigate the circumstances that led to this unfortunate situation.
