New TAP route between Porto and Luanda inaugurated

Porto gains new intercontinental flights operated by TAP.

TAP has inaugurated the new route directly linking Porto to Luanda, bringing the north of Portugal even closer to Angola with two flights a week.

The flights will leave Francisco Sá Carneiro airport on Wednesdays and Sundays at 13:30, arriving in Luanda at 21:35. In the opposite direction, they will depart from Quatro de Fevereiro airport at 23:20, arriving in Porto at 07:45 the following day.

TAP's flights between Porto and Luanda are operated by state-of-the-art A330neo model, with capacity for a total of 298 passengers, of which 264 in economy class and 34 in executive class.

The A330neo offers passengers a highly comfortable trip, less noise and the most advanced technology, including a last generation in-flight entertainment and connectivity system.

TAP's new intercontinental flight from Porto joins the transatlantic flights already operated by the national airline from the "Invicta" to Newark, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, markets that generate strong tourist flows to Porto.
