TAP is one of the best companies to work for in Portugal, coming in third place in the Randstad Employer Brand 2018, which gives awards for the most desirable companies to work for using a countrywide survey.
The distinction reinforces the award-winning management model at TAP, which had already received the same award in 2016 and 2017, with first and third places, respectively.
“It is a great honour to find ourselves, for the third time in a row, in the top three most desirable companies to work for in Portugal", said TAP Human Resources Director, Pedro Ramos, noting that "this prize reflects the work of an extensive team which, on the one hand, works hard so that the TAP brand shows the company as a strong and desirable employer, and on the other also promotes a healthy work-life balance for its employees”.
In this survey, the Portuguese also identified the aviation, tourism and leisure sectors as "the areas with the highest brand recognition and the most desirable to work in".
The Randstad Employer Brand Research is a major independent study on employer branding carried out on the working population, which measures companies’ level of recognition according to various criteria, including occupational safety, career progression, good working environment and work-life balance.
